Angel came to us from a shelter in Tennessee, where she was abandoned by her owners. We soon found out why. This 2 1/2 years old suffers from grade four patellar luxation, which means that both of her knees are dislocated all of the time. She has difficulty walking and longs to play and run with the other dogs.

Angel at home just days after her first knee surgery. This knee was the worst of the two
so it was done first. Even though she was painful, she never lost her sweet personality.
Now after the second surgery, Angel was walking on her newly rebuilt knee in just 3 days.
She recovered much more quickly after this surgery. What a little trooper!
Yep! This blurry brown streak is Angel, running through the
snow on the day she had her stitches removed. She is now
a happy girl, able to play and chase, and she is making up for
lost time!
A HAPPY ENDING. . .
Our wish for Angel has finally come true. She has had both of her knees repaired and is recovering well. The best news of all is the Angel has been ADOPTED!
